GERMANY’S INFINEON- CHOOSES GIFT CITY IFSC

• Infineon Technologies (Germany) has established a Global Capability Centre (GCC) in GIFT City IFSC, focused on semiconductors, chip design, and advanced digital technologies, reinforcing confidence in India’s IFSC ecosystem.
• The move strengthens the India–Germany semiconductor partnership and positions GIFT City IFSC as a preferred hub for EU–India technology operations, cross-border finance, and global capability centres.

Strategic Green Capital- for the Next Decade

• Germany’s €10 billion commitment till 2030 targets renewable energy, battery storage, green hydrogen, and large-scale green ammonia offtake, accelerating commercial deployment of clean technologies.
• The initiative opens structured financing opportunities for ESG-focused and climate funds across energy transition, sustainable infrastructure, and long-term decarbonisation projects.
